Items Everyone Needs

  • Camera with plenty of film/memory cards and batteries
  • Cooler to take game home
  • Gun sleeve or soft case

September Hunts

The weather will be cool in the mornings with temperatures in the 40's and warm in the afternoons with high's in the upper 60's early in the month and cooling by the end of the month.

Be sure to bring:

  • Comfortable walking boots
  • Brush pants for morning because of wet grass
  • Lightweight hunting jacket or vest
  • Orange cap
  • Lightweight gloves
  • Goose hunters need to bring camo clothing that is waterproof and warm due to the damp and cool mornings.

October and November Hunts

The weather during this time of the year is very unpredictable.  It can be 20-40 degrees at night and 30-50 during the day.  It is best to watch the weather channel or call a few days before your arrival.

Be sure to bring:

  • Waterproof boots
  • Waterproof pants and parka, warm with camo
  • Warm cap, camo
  • Warm pair of gloves, maybe 2
  • Hip boots or Waders and Camo mask, your choice
